IHF Participates in the World Bank’s Prestigious Community Connections Campaign

It's Humanity Foundation had the distinct honor of participating in the prestigious Community Connections Campaign (CCC), organized by the World Bank Group. This opportunity underscores IHF’s ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable change and provided a global platform to share both our impactful journey and our ambitious future aspirations.

At the event, Abdoulaye Seck, World Bank Country Director for Bangladesh and Bhutan, along with senior World Bank officials, were present to support the gathering. Representing IHF at the World Bank Country Office in Agargaon were Bashira Harun (Chairman), Noor-E-Fayzun Nahar (Head of Programs), and Mahin Hossain (Senior Manager, Communication & PR). The IHF leadership team delivered a compelling presentation, outlining the foundation’s inspiring journey, its mission to create lasting, meaningful change, and its plans to empower communities through transformative initiatives in education, livelihood development, and disaster recovery.

As part of the event, IHF showcased products from Protibha, a social enterprise under IHF’s Livelihood Program. The proceeds from Protibha directly support key initiatives such as education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable income generation for marginalized communities. The Protibha stall received an overwhelmingly positive response from World Bank staff, leading to significant sales and support for the cause.

The CCC, a corporate social responsibility initiative by the World Bank Group, fosters collaboration with nonprofit organizations to address global challenges. IHF’s participation in this initiative highlights our shared commitment to strengthening communities through innovation, partnerships, and impactful programs.

IHF extends its heartfelt gratitude to the World Bank Group for this invaluable opportunity and looks forward to building a strong, lasting partnership to further advance our efforts in creating resilient, self-reliant communities.
