Global Hand Washing Day 2020

It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF) partnered with Community Partners Internationals (CPI) to celebrate Global Handwashing Day 2020 on 15th October, 2020. Global Handwashing Day is an international handwashing promotion campaign to motivate and mobilize people around the world to improve their handwashing habits. “Our Hand, Our Future!” was this year’s slogan for the day. The event took place in Diabari, Mirpur where 20+ students from Chakar School participated. Importance of hand hygiene was discussed with the students and their parents. Students from underprivilege communities are not aware of hand hygiene. Our instructors discussed every steps of the process and monitored the students too. Hygiene kits were provided among the students during the event so they can keep practice of proper handwashing.

It was indeed an impactful event and we really thank CPI for collaborating with us. Throughout the event all of the safety measures were followed.
