COVID-19 Emergency Crisis Fund Distribution Day 4, 20th April Ramadan is almost at our door and the COVID-19 situation is getting poorer day by day for everyone. In such a situation, IHF is constantly trying to help its associates and other families from marginalized communities by providing necessary food items and hygiene goods. As part of that, our team has distributed the first lot of Ramadan Care Packets among people in need in order to make this crucial time a little easy for them. We have been able to reach 107 families from Dhaka and North-Bengal region with basic food items for Iftar and Suhoor. In the upcoming days we aim to expand our hand of help to 1500 families. This Ramadan care package will support them for at least 15 days which is distributed on their doorsteps. We are so grateful to people who have lent their hands for this noble cause. Coronavirus has claimed many people’s dreams, leaving them in tears, but nothing hurts worse than seeing your close ones suffer from hunger. Hence hunting for bread for some people is more essential than protecting themselves from the virus. This is the story of almost all low - income families now. People are losing loved ones every day in this battle.
