Celebrating Progress: IHF's 8th Annual General Meeting

It’s Humanity Foundation has successfully hosted its 8thAnnual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year 2023-2024 on October 5, 2024.The meeting served as a platform to reflect on the organization’s achievements over the past year while discussing strategic plans for the future. Md. Adnan Hossain, the Founder and Executive Director of IHF, chaired the event.

One of the significant moments of the AGM was the launch of IHF’s Annual Magazine for FY 2023-2024, which showcased key milestones and success stories from the past year. The magazine provided a comprehensive overview of IHF’s initiatives, partnerships, and impact in various communities.

In addition to the magazine launch, IHF introduced a new initiative, "Amar Bag," aimed at distributing dignity bags to women in some of the remotest areas of the country. This timely and crucial campaign addresses the health and hygiene needs of women in underserved communities, further reinforcing IHF's commitment to empowering vulnerable groups.

IHF also took the opportunity to honor its partner organizations for their constant support throughout the year. Token of Appreciation were awarded to several partners, including Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Ismaili Civic, BATA, BRAC University, Homebound, Al Matrooshi General TRD LLC, Sunbeams School, Quasem Industries Ltd, Azimur Rokia Rahman Trust, Sameer Trust, Kiabi, Mehnur Baby Shop, Gorur Ghash, UFI, Green Delta Life Insurance, Finis, DB Schenker, AISD, Daraz, CITI, Eskimi, BIN Network Foundation, Cholpori, EO, and Mr. Ahmed Atifur Rahman and Family.

As in previous years, the AGM featured an Employee Appreciation Ceremony to recognize the dedication and contributions of IHF’s employees. Mr. Ishtiaque Ahmed was honored with the Employee of the Year Award for FY2023-2024. Mr. Dewan Nasir received the Special Recognition Award, while Mr. Omar Faruk was awarded the Founder’s Award for 2023-2024. Mr. Mahin Hossain, Ms. Fatima Rasul Munira, Ms. Linza Dipa Mondol, Mr. Al-Nayeem, and Mr. Shaharul Islam Sakib also received Outstanding Contribution Awards for their exceptional work.

A notable addition to this year’s ceremony was the Decade of Dedication Award, presented to Ms. Maisha Lubaba for her remarkable contributions over the past 10 years at IHF. Her dedication has been pivotal in advancing IHF’s mission.

The meeting concluded with an engaging discussion on IHF’s past activities and strategic plans for the upcoming fiscal year. The event served as a testament to the power of collaboration, with heartfelt thanks extended to all the partners and stakeholders whose ongoing support makes IHF’s work possible. Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact, empowering communities and changing lives for the better.
